BRAVO Team and Toys for Tots have teamed up to bring new and unwrapped toys this Holiday Season to students who are parents. Please help us by donating toys in the box located in the hallway by the Counselors / Financial Aid office OR we invite you to join us on campus by the main entrance for our donation event on NOV.28th 2008 from 11am – 3pm. There will be refreshments, promotional freebies and a possible local radio station with their own giveaways!!! Come and join us as we share the joys of giving and help our student community.

Mount Vernon Campus - Environmental Club Holiday Wreath Sale
The holidays are coming soon and so are the Environmental club Christmas wreaths.
Once again we will be making wreaths for students and faculty of SVC.
They are $12.00 a piece and will be available for pick up after 12:30 pm on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
We will be making no more than 150 so they are on a first come first serve basis.

Fill it out and bring it to the drop box located outside of room 101 in Nelson Hall.

Mount Vernon Campus - New Hours for the Writing Tutoring Center - Nov. - Dec.
Additional hours for writing tutoring are now available!
Writing Tutors are available in the Tutoring Center, L- 20 (Lewis Hall), to help students with Eng 99, 101, and 103, as well as writing assignments in other courses. The updated schedule is as follows:
Mondays: 1:30 - 3:20
Tuesdays: 10:30 – 12:20
Wednesdays: 12:30 – 2:20
Thursdays: 10:30 – 12:20 and 1:30 – 2:20
Fridays: 10:30 – 12:20
Tutoring is free of charge! If possible, we ask students to sign up in advance to work with the tutor, and sign-up sheets are located in L- 20. Students can also stop by during scheduled times to see if the tutor is available.
