Using the story of a pioneer woman and her six daughters, QUILTERS blendsa series of interrelated scenes into a rich mosaic which captures thesweep and beauty, the terror and joy, the harsh challenges and abidingrewards of frontier life. Illuminating stories using quilt blocks, music,dance, drama and laughter, the action depicts the joys and sorrows of thelives of women on the American frontier. This wonderful and upliftingfamily musical will utilize the talents of local quilters, musicians andactresses. Produced by the music and theatre arts programs at SkagitValley College with the support of the Associated Student Body by specialarrangement with the Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
