Mount Vernon Campus - Learning Into Action Information Sessions - Sept. 22, Sept. 23, and Sept. 24

Learning Into Action is a general education requirement for Skagit Valley College's transfer degrees on the Mount Vernon, Whidbey Island and San Juan Campuses. Learning Into Action is designed to help students think analytically about knowledge and skills gained in the college classroom and develop an independent project in which to apply that knowledge and skill. The project may relate to career exploration, development or continuing education. The student, the Faculty Sponsor, the Learning Into Action Coordinator and the Site Supervisor work together in supporting student learning objectives related to a specific placement or project.

Campus LIA Info Sessions will be in room C-48. Get answers to questions not answered by the ONLINE ORIENTATION and our campus WEBSITE, which you should read prior to the onground session. These 45-minute sessions are scheduled for Sept. 22 at 1:30 p.m.; Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; and Sept 24 at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
