Mount Vernon Campus - Supply Drive - Support a Medical Mission Team in Nicaragua - Happening Now

The Student Nurse Club's is supporting a Medical Mission team that will deliver supplies to Nicaragua and provide medical aid to local communities in need. Boxes where supplies can be donated are located in Angst Hall and in the Student Center. Start Spring Quarter off by supporting volunteers who are giving back to help others live a healthy life. Mount Vernon Campus - Rescheduled GlobalFest Concert - March 29


Skagit Valley College’s GlobalFest 2011 announces that its free benefit concert, originally scheduled for last month and canceled due to snow, has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. at McIntyre Hall, which is located at SVC’s Mount Vernon Campus.

The concert will feature The Slough Dogs, an eclectic blend of rock/rhythm/blues/folk, with an opening performance by Native American flutist Peter Ali, and special guest Swil Kanim. All voluntary donations at the event will help support SVC student scholarships for study abroad.

The SVC Jazz Final will be this Wednesday at the Skagit River Brewery. Take a break from finals and listen to some hot Jazz!

Mount Vernon Campus - AHE Club Bake Sale Fund Raiser - Mar. 8, April 12, May 10, June 1


AHE CLUB is formally directing a fundraiser to form a team to participate in this years Relay for Life in Anacortes. This relay will be dedicated to the recent passing of Pamela Albright.

AHE CLUB will be having bake sales to reach the goal of raising $1000.00 by June 25th, 2011. Please look for pastry goods in the Cardinal Atrium during:

June 1st

Volunteer members will be participating in the 18 hour Relay Walk at Anacortes High School – Upper Track Field, which will begin on 06/25/2011 starting at 3 P.M. through 06/26/2011 ending at 9 A.M.
